Major General Oleh Mykhalovych Mikats, is a Ukrainian army officer who is the commander of the Operational Command "East" since 9 August 2021. Mikats had served as the deputy commander of the Operational Command Wes" from 2020 to 2021, and had been the commander of the forces of the OTU "Luhansk". Mikats was one of the leaders of the defense of Donetsk airport during the Russo-Ukrainian War.
