Odites carcharopa is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1914. It is found on the Comoros in the Indian Ocean. The wingspan is 13–17 mm. The forewings are pale greyish ochreous or whitish ochreous, becoming white towards the costa posteriorly. There is a blackish dot almost on the base of the dorsum, as well as a fuscous blotch on the dorsum before the middle, sometimes reduced to an oblique streak representing its anterior edge, its apex representing the p
