The Oberg-Metcalf House, at 12 N 100 E in Gunnison, Utah, in Sanpete County, Utah, was built around 1880 and expanded with a rear ell in the 1890s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It was probably built by Johan Oberg, about whom not much is known, and it was sold by his daughter, Agnes Alexsandra Giles, in 1905. By 1909 it was home of Sylvia Eliza Sanford Metcalf and her husband Anthony Metcalf. Sylvia was born November 16, 1845, in Hancock County, Illinois, an
