Nucet is a town in Bihor County, western Transylvania, Romania. Its name means "walnut trees" both in Romanian and Hungarian. It administers two villages, Băița (Rézbánya) and Băița-Plai. The uranium-producing Băița mine is located on the territory of the commune.
