Nușeni is a commune in Bistrița-Năsăud County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of seven villages: Beudiu (Bőd), Dumbrava (Nyírmezőtanya), Feleac (Fellak), Malin (Almásmálom), Nușeni, Rusu de Sus (Felsőoroszfalu), and Vița (Vice). The commune lies on the Transylvanian Plateau, on the banks of the river Meleș, a left tributary of the river Someșul Mare. It is located in the southwestern part of the county, on the border with Cluj County, at a distance of 10 km (6.2 mi) from the town of Becle
