Under a build–operate–transfer (BOT) concession agreement—one of the first BOT schemes in Africa—New Limpopo Bridge (Pvt) Ltd constructed the Alfred Beit Road Bridge over the Limpopo River between Musina, South Africa, and Beitbridge, Zimbabwe, in 1994.
