text: Nawayath Sultanate also known as Hunnur Sultanate was a tiny kingdom in the coast of karavali present-day Uttara Kannada district of karnataka, it was probably established by Nawayath Merchant Hasan Nakhuda in Hospattan, a village in Honnavar.
