Natomas is a community in the northwestern section of the city of Sacramento, in the U.S. state of California. Natomas is generally divided into two areas by Interstate 80: North Natomas and South Natomas. North Natomas was historically an agricultural area on the floodplains of the Sacramento River, but grew quickly starting in the mid-1990s with extensive residential development, office park, and retail construction.
