Najiba Mahmoud al-Aasal was an Egyptian novelist and short story writer, born in Cairo. She is best known for her work that focused on women's and children's issues. Some of her books include "I left a whisper of silence," "All this because she is Eve," and "The Absent lady"(Gone). Her short stories were have been published in many magazines such as Al-Risala(message) Magazine and Al-Hilal (crescent) Magazine.
