Datuk Mutang Tagal was a Malaysian lawyer, businessman, and politician. He was a Member of Parliament (MP) for Bukit Mas in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia from April 1982 to October 1990. He left active politics from 1990 until his surprise appointment as the 20th President of the Dewan Negara and Senator from February 2024 to his death in office in May 2024.
