On 28 January 1989, 26-year-old Lim Lee Tin, a Chinese Singaporean woman who was often dressed like a male, was found murdered at a Chinese cemetery in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore. She was initially mistaken as a man before the autopsy revealed her true gender.
