KH. Muhammad Dahlan was an Indonesian politician who served as the Minister of Religious Affairs from 1967 to 1973. He was born on June 2, 1909, in the village of Mandaran, Rejo, Pasuruan, East Java, Dutch East Indies. The third son of five children, his father was Dahlan Abdul Hamid and his mother was Chamsiyah.
