Motisar is a village and Village Development Committee in Bara District in the Narayani Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2,633 persons living in 399 individual households. The village is situated between Kalaiya and Birgunj City. There is no proper hospital facility in this village. Consequently, maternity and child death rates are high. Motisar is a sub-metropolitan city which consists of 6 small villages.
