Mosharraf Hossain is a Bangladeshi politician, freedom fighter, and an industrialist. He is a former member of the Bangladesh Parliament and former minister of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works. After his graduation from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in 1966 he joined politics and was elected as a Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) of what was then East Pakistan in 1970. In the political arena, he is the presidium member, the highest policy-making post of the Awami
