Mogami Yoshiaki was a daimyō of the Yamagata Domain in Dewa Province, in the late Sengoku and early Edo periods. Known as "Fox of Dewa". His younger sister, Yoshihime, later became the wife of Date Terumune and gave birth to his eldest son, Masamune. In other words, Yoshimitsu was Date Masamune's uncle. It was recorded in historical documents that his body height was over 180 cm.
