Mizret Duran is a Bosnian male sitting volleyball player and a multiple medalist at the Summer Paralympics. Duran acquired his disability during the Bosnian War. When he was 6 years old, he was playing with other children in front of his house in Sarajevo, after which he lost his left foot as a result of several grenades exploding. He began playing sitting volleyball in 2003. In the years 2008–2021, Duran won four Paralympic medals, including one gold (2012), two silvers and one bronze (2021). I
