Min Htin Ko Ko Gyi is a Burmese documentary filmmaker, poet, and former political prisoner. He has directed 8 feature-length films and 2 documentaries. His 2010 film, Floating Tomatoes, won best documentary at the 2010 Documentary Film Association of Southeast Asian States. He founded the Human Dignity Film Institute, to train young filmmakers, in 2013. Between 2013 and 2017, he organised the Human Rights Human Dignity film festival in Myanmar.
