Mimopsestis is a monotypic moth genus belonging to the subfamily Thyatirinae of the Drepanidae. It was described by Shōnen Matsumura in 1921. Its single species, Mimopsestis basalis, was described by Wileman in 1911. It is found in Japan and the Chinese provinces of Henan, Shaanxi, Hubei and Hunan. The wingspan is about 50 mm.
