Mihail Fărcășanu was a Romanian journalist, diplomat and writer. He was president of the National Liberal Youth from 1937 to 1946. Pursued by the authorities due to his anti-communist actions, he managed to flee the country in 1946, and was later sentenced to death. He was member of the Romanian National Committee and the League of Free Romanians where he was elected as president in 1953. He was the first manager of the Romanian-language section of Radio Free Europe. His most important work is F
