Miguel García Franco was a Mexican Roman Catholic bishop. At the age of 13 he entered the Conciliar Seminary of Durango. He was ordained priest in 1931. At the age of 16 he studied at the Pontifical Pius Latin College in Rome. He received his doctorate in Philosophy and Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in 1931. He served as bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mazatlán, Mexico, from 1958 to 1981. He was in charge of the ecclesiastical jurisdiction that extended from Elota to
