Michèle Rivasi was a French politician who served as a member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2009 until her death in 2023, for Europe Écologie–The Greens. She was previously a member of the French National Assembly and before that, a teacher. An environmentalist active since the Chernobyl disaster in 1986, she was also a leader of Greenpeace in France.
