text: Mevo Hama is an Israeli settlement organized as a kibbutz in the Golan Heights. The settlement was established as a kibbutz after Israel occupied the area in the Six Day War in 1967. The southernmost Israeli settlement in the Golan, it is located 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) from the Sea of Galilee at a height of 350 meters (1,150 ft) above sea level and falls under the jurisdiction of Golan Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 481. The international community considers Israeli settlements
