The Mer Rouge High School, at 500 South 14th Street in Mer Rouge, Morehouse Parish in northern Louisiana, was built in 1925. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 4, 2004. It is a two-story, brick veneer building. It was designed by J.W. Smith Architects of Monroe, Louisiana. It was deemed significant "as a milestone in the history of public education in the community, and perhaps even more importantly, its auditorium was Mer Rouge's community center. As one longtime
