Menemerus formosus is a species of jumping spider in the genus Menemerus that lives in Kenya. The species was first described in 1999 by Wanda Wesołowska, one of over 500 descriptions she has written during her lifetime. It is a small spider, with a brown carapace that is between 2.0 and 2.3 millimetres long, with a darker eye field that is between 1.0 and 1.2 millimetres long, and a yellowish abdomen between 1.9 and 2.3 millimetres long.
