text: Megacraspedus platyleuca is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1904. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia. The wingspan is 11–12 mm (0.43–0.47 in). The forewings are fuscous, mixed with blackish fuscous and with a broad shining white costal streak from the base to beyond the middle, then leaving the costa and rather narrowed to four-fifths, an oblique white line from three-fourths
