Max Mnkandla is the President of the Zimbabwe Liberators' Peace Initiative. He fought for the Zimbabwe People's Revolutionary Army (ZIPRA) in the Rhodesian Bush War. His father, Siqanywana, died in the Gukurahundi massacres of the 1980s.
