Mavka: The Forest Song is a Ukrainian 3D-animated fantasy film. It was created in 2023 by the Animagrad film studio. Based on Lesya Ukrainka’s play, The Forest Song,it portrays characters from Slavic and Ukrainian folk mythology. Oleksandra Ruban and Oleh Malamuzh directed the film. The animated film is set in two worlds: one enchanted and one human. The main theme of the film is a love story between an enchanted forest dweller (Mavka) and a human (Lukas), and their battle with the villain Kylin
