Martin Roemers is a Dutch photographer and artist. Roemers studied at the AKI Academy of Visual Arts in Enschede, the Netherlands. He graduated in 1991. Roemers is known for long term projects about urbanisation and long-term effects of warfare. His major projects include Trabant, the Warfare Project, Relics of the Cold War, and Metropolis Articles and reviews about Roemers' work have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The New Yorker.
