Its original political slant was described as left-wing in the 2010s it shifted towards a more right-wing, sovereigntist editorial line. While the magazine had been majority-owned by Yves de Chaisemartin, 91% of the capital was sold to Czech billionaire Daniel Křetínský in 2018, with Natacha Polony taking over as managing editor.
