Marc H. van der Woude is a Dutch jurist and judge who has presided over the General Court of the European Union (EU) since 27 September 2019. He has been a member of the General Court since 13 September 2010. A native of Gorredijk, Friesland, Van der Woude studied law at the University of Groningen and the College of Europe in Belgium. He later lectured at the College of Europe and Leiden University. He worked as an attorney in Brussels from 1995, becoming a professor at Erasmus University Rotte
