Machilipatnam Port is a greenfield deep sea port on the coast of Bay of Bengal. It is located at Machilipatnam, the District Headquarters of Krishna district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu laid the pylon for its construction for the first time in 2019. In May 2023, the former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the work on the Rs 5,156 crore Machilipatnam Port in the Krishna district by unveiling a pylon and offering special
