A two time Emmy Award winner, Pilcher was nominated for an Academy Award in 2014 for Cutie & The Boxer, directed by Zachary Heinzerling; and Sony Pictures Classics released the Cine Mosaic production of The Lunchbox, directed by Ritesh Batra.
