Ludwig Geißel was a German charity administrator who became vice-president of Diakonisches Werk, a charitable organization of the Protestant / Evangelical churches in Germany). He was a co-founder of the Bread for the world programme. His autobiography is subtitled "Unterhändler der Menschlichkeit".
