Louisa Matilda Spooner, pseudonym L. M. S., was a Welsh novelist. She was born in Maentwrog and baptised on 24 March 1820, the daughter of railway engineer James Spooner and his wife Elizabeth. She never married, and died in Portmadoc. Her works include: Gladys of Harlech (1858)
