text: Loren H. Rieseberg is a Canadian-American botanist. Born in Alberta, Canada, his family moved to the US. He graduated from Washington State University with a Ph.D. in 1987. He is a Professor of Botany at the University of British Columbia and a Distinguished Professor of Biology at Indiana University, and head of the Rieseberg Lab.
