The name Nora has been used for eighteen tropical cyclones and one extratropical cyclone worldwide: seven in the Eastern Pacific, ten in the Western Pacific, and once in the Australian Region and in Western Europe. In the Eastern Pacific: Tropical Storm Nora (1985) – not a threat to land.
Hurricane Nora (1991) – a Category 2 hurricane that dissipated before making landfall.
