The City of Bayswater is a local government area in Perth, Western Australia. It was established in 1897 as the Bayswater Road Board, with a chairman elected by the board members as its leader. In 1961, it became the Shire of Bayswater following the passage of the Local Government Act 1960, with a president elected by the councillors as its leader.
