Roman castra in Romania were forts built by the Roman army following the conquests of Moesia, Scythia Minor and Dacia, parts of which are now found in the territory of modern Romania. Many of these castra were part of various limes. The vast majority of these forts were built for garrisons of Auxilia of non-citizen regiments of nominally 500 men. The castra not yet identified, have the name of the modern location in italics and parenthesis, while major ones are in bold.
