Larry A. Martin is a Republican and a former member of the South Carolina Senate, representing the 2nd District since 1992 until 2017. In 2012, he was named Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1979 through 1992.
