Kury is a Polish post rock group. The band was brought to life in April 1992 by Ryszard Tymon Tymański, a former member of the experimental art performing Totart community (1986-1989) and a later co-founder of the so called yass music scene. Kury played experimental rock music and their style evolved in time towards a more electronic direction. Their first album "Kablox - nieslyna histaria" was recorded in 1994 in Polish Radio Szczecin studios. It contained post rock songs inspired by Frank Zapp
