Kotlai is a small town in the Swat District of Pakistan, roughly 130 miles (130 mi) from Islamabad. It sits at an altitude of 1,089 metres (3,573 ft). It is approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Kabal, and roughly 16 kilometres (10 mi) from the town of Mingora. A small highway leads to Kotlai from Shamozai's main road at Akhun Kalai.
