Komakino Site The Komakino Site is an archaeological site located in the city of Aomori, Aomori Prefecture, in the Tōhoku region of northern Japan containing the ruins of a late Jōmon period settlement. The remains were designated a National Historic Site in 1995 by the Japanese government. The site is located a short distance to the south of the famous Sannai-Maruyama Site.
