Koczała is a village in Człuchów County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Koczała. It lies approximately 35 kilometres (22 mi) north-west of Człuchów and 115 km (71 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk. It is located within the historic region of Pomerania. Koczała was a royal village of the Polish Crown, administratively located in the Człuchów County in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. During World War II the Germans operated a labor camp
