text: Kiryat Motzkin is a city in the Haifa District of Israel, 8 kilometres north of the city of Haifa. In 2022 it had a population of 48,001. The city is named after Leo Motzkin (1867-1933), one of the organizers of the First Zionist Congress in 1897. The mayor of the city is Tziki Tzvi Avisar.
