Kara Young is an American actress. She has received three nominations for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play: in 2022 for the role of Letitia in Clyde's, in 2023 for the role of Jess in Cost of Living, and winning in 2024 for the role of Lutiebell Gussie Mae Jenkins in Purlie Victorious. She was the first black actress to be nominated in three consecutive years for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play, winning in 2024.
