Kalmansky District is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the northern central part of the krai. The area of the district is 1,820 square kilometers (700 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality of Kalmanka. Population: 14,331 (2010 Russian census); 14,871 (2002 Census); 15,801 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Kalmanka accounts for 24.0% of the district's total population.
