Julio José Frenk Mora is a Mexican physician and sociologist who served the sixth president of the University of Miami from 2015 to 2024. After receiving an undergraduate medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1979, he attended the University of Michigan and graduated with two master's degrees and a PhD degree in 1983.
