Josephine Giard is a German footballer who plays as a forward for Scottish Women's Premier League club Hamilton Academical. She previously played for FSV Gütersloh in Germany and in Scotland with Celtic. She plays football while wearing an insulin pump as she was diagnosed with diabetes as a child. She said in an interview on Scottish football show A View From The Terrace that she likes to be open with this to encourage other people dealing with the condition to feel confident in playing.
