Joseph Zammit McKeon is a former Maltese judge and the current Maltese Parliamentary Ombudsman. Judge Emeritus Joseph Zammit McKeon was born in Floriana, Malta, on the 19th March 1956. He was conferred the Diploma of Notary Public on the 12th December 1980 by the University of Malta followed by the Degree of Doctor of Laws on the 30th January 1982. He practised primarily in litigation with effect from 4 March 1982. Following the enactment of the Occupational Health and Safety (Promotion) Act 19
