The Joseph H. Kurth, Jr., House, in Vernon Parish, Louisiana near Leesville, Louisiana, was built in 1920. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. It is a large, one-and-one-half-story frame house, a vernacular example of the bungalow style. It was built on the main street of Kurthwood, a lumber company town, but almost all the rest of the town has disappeared since, leaving the house in a rural, wooded setting.
